What's the average life  span  expected out of these pumps? assuming using 5 days a week, not heavy use as I still trad some houses each day.

I had one 5 years,
Only changed it to a vyair one because it started to sound a bit rattley but still worked, was going to keep it as a spare but lent it never to be returned. The vyair one lasted about 2 years so bought another shurflo 2 years ago. money well spent.

I bought mine second hand in a boot market for £3.

8 years on and still working although I'm hardly a 20+ houses a day type CIU window cleaner that earns £££££££'s a day week in and week out.

7 1/2 years and still going strong, when the pump finally gives up, will definetly get the same again

A neighbour of mine who does something clever with RO systems for huge cruise ships (and knows his stuff) reckons these shurflo diaphragm pumps are designed to be worked hard.
