Thanks matt, yea ive seen a sml sample of it from circuit hydraulics, well made but how flexible it is on a reel full??? Pure freedoms is good n cheap @ £45 but its not flexible enough for me. I saw a windy mate of mine 2day and hes using ionics 8mm, very flexy to the touch, so might give that a go @ £80ish, shame its only in orange though, i find yellow more high vis when new/worn.

I find it spot on, I spent last week running 200 metres of the hose from me van onto a stadium roof,no probs at all, I can't compare it to any others coz I bought this hose when I first started, it grips the hose reel well as dosent have no loose parts when bringing back in.

Thanks 4 all replies. I was originally wanting to change over to the easier to work with 6mm, but i understand this could cause problems with my controller and pump, re: flow rate and strain on the pump (but not 2 worried about pump) etc etc?? So i have reluctantly decided to stick with 8mm minibore, as i didnt want 2 waste money on the 6mm if it didnt work right. So still looking. cheers m
