It's a shame you used a charity cause as an opportunity to promote your magazine.
I view it differently...... it shows the brands willing to support this in our community. As a result we have nominated lots of people that would not otherwise donate. WCM is proud to be involved in that. No shame in that.
Business align with charities everyday. WCM involvement is genuine. Some of our help is in the spotlight and some of it aint. This Ice Bucket challenge was started in the US for ALS sufferers. Famous people began getting involved in the challenge which meant people would talk about it. It works the same way. I would pay to see Perry Tait form Reach-iT to get drenched myself lmao ( for example)
