I generally avoid them, but I have a very large house that I do 16 weekly and charge £105 outsides only. Then last time they asked me to do the insides as well. I charged £275 and they were so pleased that they have gone to 8 weekly in and out every time. I have dropped the price though to £225. Goes from £300 a year to £1,300. After the

It's ok if the weather is bad or you have nothing better to do. Takes longer. I was asked if I would clean the inside of a care home I do. Told tem it would be about £2,500 and I would have to have a member of staff with me. Job forgotten  8)

i refuse unless its a big posh house who pay a good rate as you have to book them in advance.i do one or two but generally i dont bother.like matt its easier(and less hassle)to just crack on with outside work.

i have a few old dears on estate work that ill clean their inside kitchen window if their in!i usually get a cup of coffee and a biccie for my troubles! ;D ;D
price higher/work harder!

i try to avoid them too, having to take your shoes off theres nothing worse than foot odour!!!

Wear 'overshoes' £10 for 100.

I'm a firm believer in customer satisfaction... So if a customer asks for an inside clean then I'll say yes, but charge at least double the outside price now... If you say no then they might find someone else to do it and then dump you.

As an example we cleaned the outside windows for a customer last Thursday... It's £65 every 7 / 8 weeks and doesn't take us long to do - so it's a really good regular customer... She asked if we can do insides, we didn't have time last Thursday so booked it in for tomorrow morning... All the windows are a bit of a pain, new Georgian type windows but it's an extra £130 and it keeps the customer happy... We clean the insides approx every 6 months for her so it's an extra £260 per year... If I said no I would be in danger of loosing a really good regular customer.

We do a lot of insides throughout a year, it's good additional income.
