Its a wetndry vac, that is not designed for gutter cleaning! Itlk pack in with any rough type of cleaning! I can only assume you guys don't clean too many gutters and are quite happy to plod along sucking up dry leaves and leaving the sludge behind!

I've had a 30T since they were released by Nilfisk approx 3 years ago. I bought it for a renovation, to vacuum anything & everything up including small nails & building rubble! It has performed faultlessly & I can tell you from first hand experience that it will not pack in with any rough type of cleaning! The Nilfisk domestic products knock spots off the Karcher equivalents- the Karcher vacuum is a joke in comparison!!

The Nilfisk multi 30T is of excellent build quality.

All the gutter vacs are just wet and dry vacs , some have a cyclonic inlet retro fitted (easy enough to do yourself).

The grippa 2400 watt vac is a numatic (same make as the henry hoover and use the same motors/fans but has two of them).

The nilfisk is very close to it on suction and it is very well built.

JD , you appear to feel very passionate about this when you have not even used the nilfisk , do you have some kind of grudge against nilfisk ?

just for your information , sky vac use nilfisk vacuums for there gutter cleaning systems .

my suggestion would be to buy the poles , hose and end tools from grippa , quite expensive but the poles are very very light and there 51mm push fit collar will slot straight into the nilfisk vac so you have 51mm all the way through .

I use one as a dust extractor on the band saw and power tools in my little workshop and it's excellent.
The filter clean button and power take off socket are handy features.

I was going to use it as a gutter vac but never got round to buying the poles, and don't know if I can be bothered anyway.

Would a Clarke 2.2 kva invertor generator have enough umph to power the Nilfisk 30t.

I have the 30t to be honest not really tried it yet.
Can remember some one saying you take filter out for better suction
or was it just keep cleaning and drying the filter?

ive done 100+ jobs with 30t and it's fine on cleaning gutters trust me.. Some people are trying to comment about this product on this tread when in truth they have never used one to comment 
About the filters they are very good and keep out all dust and dirt not like the foam ones that end up breaking the motors after 6 months hence why they must be kept clean.

I'm not saying it's better than triple vac motors cause it's not but I have sucked out some of the biggest chunks of grass and moss possible..

jd what do you use ? we are looking into a set up and taking note on everybodys views good are bad , the gutters we have done are full of stinky green stuff that's hard to move what do you find good for removeing it all

I use an Eastern Trading VAC Susan & I find it really decent. The company have since gone belly up though, so getting spares etc is out the window! Sometimes you just need to revert to a ladder & scoop to get the ground in stuff out ! Personally when I come across the stuff that's hard to shift then I  just use a pressure lance with gutter attachment and flush the dirt out. Works a treat & shifts everything I've come across without a problem. If your setting up with gutter cleaning then I feel a pressure washing lance (power pole) with gutter attachment is a must. Its also perfect for flushing the downpipes out and leaving the customer with a really thorough job....

i believe he means something like this http://www.jet-wash-direct.co.uk/pressurewashers/telescoping-lance.html, it will be for attaching to a pressure washer not with wfp.
