how long have you been window cleaning mate?

ive been there myself.low motivation.once you start skiving off it can become a habit and your earnings suffer making you feel even worse.

1.live a clean lifestyle and eat well

2.get organised and put underpriced work up,drop the messers

3.book the odd job in for first job of the day(ive got a £22 job booked in for 9am)

4.plan a holiday or little break so you have something to look forward to

5.take the odd day off and dont feel guilty about it

6.get into the habit of working in the rain.customers get used to it and pay up as normal after a few years

7.try and work it so you have a few days off at the end of the month before next months onslaught.

Think I'll take the day off. Don't want to hit the Supertax bracket.

Take the day off.
Have a yoga session.
Clean your extreme poles.
Take a trip to the gym, have a swim.
Go shopping for some new Goretex clothing.
Then home to wax the sports car in readiness for picking the girlfriend up for dinner in a "posh" restaurant. followed by a night in a 5 star hotel.

working on your own is a losers game -

now before you get uppity im not talking about money -im talking about mental deterioration .  its well known that loners are very very prone to suicidal thoughts and  crack up

id never work alone now

woman chattin to me one day few yrs ago ,told me her hubby was a windie for 11 years [ LONER type]

one day when he arrived at a house ,switched off the engine, opened his car door and then found he couldnt move his legs to get them out of the car .   this sounds funny but she was serious and warned me to be careful.  Within a year i had a helper ,iv never forgot what she said
