WCM TV covers everything in the industry so that people can see all sides of the industry.

Especially the rubbishy cowboy side of the industry judging by this video.

Oh dear. I don't think this video has helped his business at all.

I think he needs to come on here and answer a few questions.

If the customer wanted that size tank fitted in that van I don't see how it could have been done much different.

Nothing wrong with Wydale tanks & the system looks ok to me. Like I said earlier, my only concern would be the size of tank in that particular van.

So they would be happy to fit knowing that it would be legally overweight when full ?
Surely part of being "professionally" fitted would be to advise on correct size for safety,
At the very least get customer to sign a disclaimer, and for your biz reputation don't go videoing it.

Totally agree about Wyvale tanks, I now use ibc tanks with perforated drainage pipe, I don't any slosh or sway now

why is it overweight  650 payload

tank +water = 430 kg

frame +RO+DI my guess would be 20kg so 200kg for pole/reel/ fuel+ driver+ karcher window vac  ;D

I cant see it being overweight unless a right fatty was driving.

I guess the key question here is how much is it fully fitted? I wouldn't be going there in a hurry :o  to me it looks like they ordered all the parts from eBay and set about fitting it to your van for you.

Any thoughts on why one guy didn't want his face shown ?
Could some of the labour costs be subsidised by the tax payer by any chance.
Sorry in advance if Iv jumped to the wrong conclusion.

Not every1 wants their 15 minutes of fame.... :-\

Alfie, so your "guess" that van is not overweight ?
Well I concede that may be the case, but only if you are under the average weight of 85 kilos in weight, and only have quarter of tank of fuel, you should be ok with a window vac as your spare tyre is missing !!!

Please bear in mind that the RO weights more once used and holds a fair bit of water so the filters, di vessel and hose reel adding even more weight to the water in the actual tank.

However, regardless of our guesses, the only sure way is to have the vehicle weighed.

My observations are, it's a very poor "professionally" fitted setup. Just my opinion
