I've got a customer that sent the other way.
Massive house, minging windows, not been done for nearly 3 years.
Just assumed it'd be a one off.
Have her the price-£150.
She doesn't bat an eyelid.
'Shall I crack on?' Says I.
'Yup, I'll stick the kettle on' says she.
Moments pass, she brings my brew out (with biccies) and says:
'so how often do people normally get their windows cleaned?'
'Monthly, for the most part' I says
'Can you put me down for that then please?'
'Yes but I'll need to set up your direct debit payments before you get added to our round'
'No problem' she says 'send me the details and I'll sort it'
Couple of days later-all set up, she's paying £150PCM (and happy to!) and I've got a job where I keep going back to the van for no reason, sitting down to drink my tea & play with my phone just to string it out to 2 hours!
Lovely job.
(Just thought I'd share)
RobertPhil-I think Granville is spot on.
Work out what you think is a fair price, bung a few quid on top so a good job becomes a plum job.
If you're still a bit unsure, have issues with the job etc. speak to the site manager. Not aggy, just politely ask him if you can get the maintenance cleans. (Don't say 'how come I don't get the maintenance cleans?!) Simply ask to be considered for them.
