Can't understand the logic?

Well the logic is that some half wits think that £50 an hour should be the going rate. The bigger companies who employ can send a guy out and pay him £7 an hour, charge the customer say £15 an hour and still turnover a profit from the comfort of their swing chair.

The laugh is that the guys spouting off their fabulous hourly rates of £50, £60 an hour and above are sat at home most of the time saving for their new van that they haven't got and ripping out their hot water systems because they can't afford the £10 a week gas. "I had a few £50 houses to do this morning" - brilliant!

That's why this forum is such a laugh I love it. 



Those guys earning £7 an hour will most likely do a crap job - you get what you pay for .

Im not sure why your attacking dazmond - he comes across to me as one of the honest ones on here rather than a bull poope millionaire.


if his average day is £200 and he is doing 5 hour days that is indeed £40 an hour turnover .

I believe you Daz.  I have one job where I earn about £100 an hour if I get my skates on - but it's only 18 hours spread across the year.  I have other jobs at around £25 that I can do in 20 minutes.  Is this typical?  No!  Could it be typical if I got off my bum and canvassed more?  Yes!  I never did a £400 either.  Funnily enough my best was £399 .  It was a long day and such hard graft that I vowed never to do that again.  I also have work where it's nearer £25 an hour.  My yearly turnover doesn't reflect those rates as I like to have a bit of time off and do shorter days quite a lot.

Uk commercial cleaning offered me a job a few months back.They told me it was a superb hourly rate of £6.45 per hour with a cracking bonus of £5 for every fourth job you complete in a day !!!!!

To be fair you can't relate how much money someone has to the things they own.

I know a lot of people that have much more money than I do, but also live in a not so nice area and drive cars worth a few hundred quid.

Money doesn't have to be spent just in houses and vehicles.

My financial status is pretty okay so that most of the year i only
work part time my house is paid for etc.

But i still only drive a £500 astra estate
