Surely 500 litres ain't enough water for 2 men all day ???

Very nice van though :)

All our work is very compact and in a 1 mile radius from my house, so filling up at my house is easy. DI only.

I'd get a 350. One fill up and you have the option of 70litres in a day, more than enough for 2men

Here's one for you.

Just been offered a 1000 ibc tank for £25

Now, I would have the room to accomadate it in the van, obviously would never fill it right up.

New 400ltr tanks are like £200, even second hand sell for £130 ish, so I would be saving a few quid.

Even if it did fit would it be a bit of a waste of space as you wouldn't be able to fill it up much because of the payload so you would be taking up a lot of room

It'd be pony.
Get what you want. Not what's cheap.
In the end you'll get what you want, so you might as well buy what you actually want.

If you have not got a static tank then get it for that purpose and put it in your garage .

500ltr tank full weighs 535kg as mentioned before add in all your other gear you will be close to payload max .

Just put in your van what you really need everyday rather putting all your trad gear and ladders on etc . Mike

fitting a 1000l ibc in that van is stupid beyond belief

with a 500l tank full on board it will be overweight, have you not read the posts on this forum? with a 900l payload 500litres puts it the van on its limit,

I dont think its a good van for a 2man set up, it doesnt have a payload good enough and its too small, you need a minimum of 1000kg payload for 2 men, ideally 1200kg+

was it 12000 including vat? or are you not vat registered? if you only use a 250l tank between 2 men I'd go to a 400l then you might be not overweight when full

i bought one of these back in september. its an enterprise with all the sensors etc, but mines silver with colour coded bumpers with daylights. cost a little more then what you paid but not much more.  i negotiated a good deal with online price comparisons and the dealers matched it.  ive got a 350ltr flat tank in mine. wouldnt want anymore then that as i wouldnt want to put unnecessary stress on the clutch and gearbox.  im thinking of gettigna 350 upright with cage in the next tax year as theres not much space in the back with the flat tank.

finally pulled my finger out and its getting  sign written by the end of the week so i will upload a pic or something.
