19kg and it lasts me 10 days, 31 quid or 62 a month  i have it hot though and i'm doing full days and its on all the time ... changed mine today as well.

What temp you have on the boiler
At 30 , it's probably only Luke warm at the brush head

At 40 , it seems to be about right , so that I'm using the gas and getting hot at the brush head and makes a difference. At 30 seems pointless .

I know it depends on how much hose reel u have out etc

But I tend to go for 35-42

Mid to high twenties out the boiler for me. Feels Luke warm to touch. I cracked a pane of glass last year with the boiler on 40. Won't do that again.

As long as it's above freezing I'm happy now. On 4 weekly cleans I don't feel warm helps too much. Unless it's with bird muck etc.

Cheers Jonny , I'll stick to 30s at top , hence will last a full 2 weeks .

My whole reason for getting this hot conversion is to just to get me working through the day .

If you run your boiler a full blast you will go through gas at a rate. If you turn your heat down to 60 degrees then it ill last longer and not crack the glass anyway.If the water is over 60 degrees you are stuffing up your hoses and fittings as PU will damage and will burst at hotter than the magic 60 degrees.A good tip is weigh gas bottle when full and empty and then you ill know en you getting screed over.If you know the eight of a empty bottle then add the gas in KGs and a full one should be this weight.Also when you overheat PU hoses they will be less flexible when cold than there were, when new.Its not hot water cleaning its warm to hot not boiling water cleaning.

I filled up 10ltrs of propane at .72p a ltr and got 7 working days out of it, before having to refill. So that works out at £1.02p per day.

Dazmond I'm surprised you've chosen this expensive method of hot water , especially as you are resin only . I think you are kidding yourself or trying to justify the expense when saying you will work faster . I think like me all your work is 4 or 8 week maintenance cleans , it is no faster on this type of work .

If you have your boiler running at 60 degrees you WILL crack glass eventually. That's way too hot for freezing conditions. I was cleaning away at 40 degrees on a window the boom a crack shot from left to right across the glass.

That is what I do, plug in, fill up and go. Van is roasting all day. You need to be DI only though. It's the cheapest, easiest way by far.

Sorry dave . Will amend the post . Defo can't go back to cold even in the summer the hot is soooooooo much nicer . I love spending £100 a month on gas .but I will earn that back easily on the 1 day a year I might not of worked due to freezing conditions .anyone know the cheapest place to fill my gas bottle ?

Yeh if you are di only it's a no brainier . Hot tap outside . Fill the tank up , twenty minutes . Nice warm water all day . Just the right temp so nowt freezes and the hose is soft . Keep it simple .

I was told you can bugger up your resin with hot water

no leaks bob.all connections are nice and tight.

 the place i got it from could have sold me a bottle that was only half full?

i got my refill from a different supplier so ill see how long this one lasts me.

Shake the bottle around to make sure it's not half empty or full before you buy.

If it comes out a comby boiler, the water will have only a slightly higher tds than the cold tap. I haven't noticed any significant usage over the past few year's to be honest.

waiting for the rain and hail to stop here...i decided to take
the plunge and go hot.

turn my tap on with the red symbol on it and hey presto out it
came ,i never realised it could be so easy.looking forward to warm
hands and no kinks in my pole hose
