The deal was £250 of monthly work for £500

Just as a 'tester'

Didnt think it was unreasonable for them to require 250 up front to cover travel hotel etc..

Looks like the jokes on me!!
I doubt you have been conned.. £250 up front and £250 after is probably the norm...i used to charge like that sometimes.

Yeah but with no contact for over a week..... looks like this lads took my money and ran

I see another thing on them on gumtree the other day in Nottinghamshire saying rip off people http://www.gumtree.com/p/business-services/the-window-cleaning-canvassers-taylor-rd-lydd-con-man-07598-448101-beware/1036033470 I had a call today from a North London cleaner who has just been ripped of by some guys in Essex who as far as I know theyve changed there names 3 times. Makes my blood boil

Is this Tom cronins crew?

Did you get your money back from ages ago in the end I remember by court you were on about

he got in contact with me after i sent the small claims court letter, he ended up getting me some more work, i propably ended up a little out of pocket, but at least i got some back
