I've used them twice, very easy to deal with, and any messer customers have been replaced, will use again.

Adam smith is the man i have 'dealt with' the deal was half up front and half when cleaned. Not a great deal of money but that is not the point.

I've not heard of him, but to be fair I don't pay much attention to other canvassers. I hope it goes well for you.

The deal was £250 of monthly work for £500

Just as a 'tester'

Didnt think it was unreasonable for them to require 250 up front to cover travel hotel etc..

Looks like the jokes on me!!

It is normal to ask for something up front, half seems a bit much, but as you it's a small amount. I now normally require a £100 deposit which basically sorts out the serious from those not so serious, after being messed around a few times ... let us know how you get on.

When I first started canvassing I didn't ask for a deposit and did get messed around by some window cleaners yes, who basically booked me for a few days or a week and then either cancelled last minute and/or didn't answer the phone/emails when the week became due. I think there were three from what I recall.

I was only doing it part time to begin with so always had my own work to fall back on, but when I decided to start canvassing full time felt it best to ask a small deposit, which does sort out those who are serious from those who aren't.
