if its light snow on the ground then ive found i can carry on with my cold wfp system.i put oil filled radiator in van overnight which is standard practice for me on below freezing nights.
a tub of grit/ice melt in van and a sweeping brush
extra flask of hot water just in case my jets freeze up
start a bit later and finish a bit earlier.
if its heavy snow and very difficult to drive around i take the time off and dip into my emergency fund if need be.
the longest amount of time ive had off was about 3 weeks a few years ago during the heavy snow in january.that was very extreme weather though.not usual here in the north west!
