i have just received my water heater but i don't have a clue how to fix it in my vauxhall vivaro!

first of all have you got all the heat risistant hose, then what i did is fit a pice of batton at the back ply linning of van for the heater to be mounted .ply lining aint thick enough, then look under heater it will say water in and out ,fix the hose from the reel to out and the other hose to the other. fit it after the pump just locate your water suply,you will have a few more replys so dont worry its quite simple, you dont have to be a brain surgen.a tip when you hook up to the gas get some leak detector spray all the joints to see if its gas sound if it aint it will bubble were leaks are. if you aint got any leak spray brush some soapy water solution it will do the same if you have a leak

do you put your boiler outside your van?

if you are putting it on the side of van fix a batton behind the ply linning so you can fix it because ply linning is to thin and it will work loose take it from me it append to me

hi Ben, mine is fixed to batons of wood and then fix the batons to the van, I put some heatshield insulation between the van and the batons, if you're not going to put a flue on it then try and position it near the back door, you're also gonna need to think of a way to secure your gas bottle safely, either box it in or ratchet strap, my numbers on my website if u need any more help then ring.

Bought X2 metal strips with holes in from B&Q, bolted shower to it then drilled holes on the fat pillars of back door and screwed it on with self tapping screws job done m8

Ben,

Whilst I encourage anyone to have a shot at DIY, I advise that this maybe a time when you should leave it to someone who is a little more DIY orientated. You are dealing with gas, get it wrong and there can be far reach reprecussions.

In earlier posts you admitted that you hadn't got the skills - I would be very cautious with regard to this.

Nothing here is meant to be offensive, just I worry for yours and others safety.
