Bought X2 metal strips with holes in from B&Q, bolted shower to it then drilled holes on the fat pillars of back door and screwed it on with self tapping screws job done m8
thanks mate, which self tapping screws did you use? no need for nuts then? many thanks

Ben,

Whilst I encourage anyone to have a shot at DIY, I advise that this maybe a time when you should leave it to someone who is a little more DIY orientated. You are dealing with gas, get it wrong and there can be far reach reprecussions.

In earlier posts you admitted that you hadn't got the skills - I would be very cautious with regard to this.

Nothing here is meant to be offensive, just I worry for yours and others safety.
thanks Spruce, just wanted to know how to fix the boiler properly.
i had my idea but best to ask. Obviously metal strips look better than batons of wood!
i am not ashamed to ask advice on here.

Many thanks
