for all those wanting to go hot,
if you just want to use it to stop your hoses freezing in the winter ( get a immersion an heat the water the night before )
if you want to have the above + hotter water for cleaning first cleans gutter/fascias and conny roofs etc ( get an lpg heater )
if you want to have all the above and waste loads of money ( get a deisel water heater )
simples  ;D

Totally agree and if your going to get a diesel water heater at least get a separate tank and run
it on red.

Don't think you can run them on red, causes issues.

They can be run on red but it has to be clean and well filtered, have two systems one with jerry can that has been run on red but what you save is not worth the hassle, the other is fed from the van tank. Plumbed into the van tank is the way to go no chance of it running out of fuel. Used all year round ,makes the job more efficient, as in the subject, 'Is it worth it?' a big yes from me.

Poleman....You must have OCD because i would eat my dinner off the floor in the van!!
What was used to "speedlining" the sides?

Well I am a cleaner by trade  ;) the walls was painted with eggshell and speedline has UV in it so no fading
What is egg shell and speed line :|?

Eggshell: the house a baby chicken comes in
Speed line: how to do coke when the rozzers are onto you

Thats good info mate, but have u had any probs cracking the glass with hot water in the winter or any other time? thanks m

In short no mate, you do have to be aware of what you are doing now that you have a gas in the van, I have been using the hot water in the summer for first cleans which I had to turn the temp down, and in the winter if very cold then you dont have it very hot, I total love my hot water and only cost £5 or £10 a week to run  :) this is my system http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52QsSAWz0Rc

I REALLY like your new van Poleman. It's just so... well, clean! But, I'm curious, sir! Why, after all that effort in producing such an outstanding example, did you opt for just one pump and controller?
