I think latest consensus of opinion will be that its worth it (from all the people who use it )I however, don'tI manage quite happily without a hot water system or even any heater system in van overnight during the winter (street parked) and have done so for over 7 years. That is only my opinion though and maybe not valid as I have never used one.would be interesting to see if anyone has bought/built a hot water system and considered it not worth it ?

No never had any problems. Buy good equipment and you will have no trouble.I do know of a window cleaner who not only popped one window but two on the same house in quite mild conditions.
is thier any point in the summer .i can see some benifits in the winter .ps is it only £200 to buy n install
richard its not just £200 though is it?you have to upgrade your hoses and connectors and certain reels plus the cost of gas or diesel and the extra faffing about.for me i cant seem to bring myself to buy a hot system although the immersion heater element sounds appealing for winter use.id have to get a plumber in to do it for me though as id probably make a mess of my tank! i have no problems using cold all year round.its cheaper and less faffing around.the only thing i dont like is the stiffer hoses on very cold days!!
