I've found that for me, as a one man band, the differences in cost for the same amount of cover only seem to vary by about £10 or £20 for a year.

I'm with Alexander Swan and I pay £90 odd for 2 million liability.

Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

i use Simply business , about 500quid thats for public and several employee liability . each year at renewal time 3 weeks before deadline i get a loada quotes off others, this is worth doing as you end up with at least 100 quid discount when you pit the insurance dogs against one another

I use gleaming insurance, for 1 million cover it is £175. The big differences in price is down to type of cover. Basic 3rd party cover really isn't worth bothering with, as it doesn't cover damage to the property you are cleaning!, nor your equipment. Get some decent comprehensive insurance.

£98 for 5 million cover and covers you for the actual glass and property you are cleaning which some do not so you need to check that and that's through a plan Southampton commercial branch!

Gleaming is very good, you can pay monthly at no extra charge, and it covers damage to the property . . . . and it also covers pressure washing too  ;D

Oh, and they respond very quickly when you have a query !

(Gleaming) Hiscox £198 per year for 2 million cover

I'm also insured with axa til it runs out in march but the axa insurance policy isn't a comprehensive policy
