What are the differences then James?

the carbon tubes are differant than that of the elite pole, lighter, stronger and more rigid. i also believe the collapsed length of the pole may differ to that of the elite, also they have a differant marking on the base of each section and all evolution poles come complete with Ali base caps.

the elite 50 is a good pole thougfh and worth every penny you want for the pole.

ok, I believe part of this to be true. Sure the markers on the bottom are slightly different and the end caps too.
 I have seen both of these poles in use and there is absolutely no difference in rigidity or weight.
