We used to clean 2 major hospital complexes here in Germany. The one in a large town called Minden and the other in a town called Detmold. Very well paid as it's all priced by square meters of glass including frames etc.
It's OK if yo have enough trustworthy guys who know what they're doing. The problems start when you have to work to hospital timings, such as the operating theatres and ITU's. It means moving guys and gear from one end of a complex to another for a rushed few minutes to get a certain area finished. Stops any rythm of working and can mess up other work that's only half finished.
We don't have the "method statement" and "risk assessment" cr@p that UK seems to have to wade through, but it's still a headache getting any big complex job finished on time. Also, it can be really mind numbing working hundreds of windows, all the same, one after another for hours at a time. All of this sort of work here is always inside and outsides. So your staff have to be good or a matron or head cleaner will call you back to re do any job they aren't happy with.
On top of that, you have to order and organise any cherry pickers and scissor lifts needed
and sometimes pay for these in advance.
So if you're young, ambitious and keen to be moving forward in a short time, it's right up your street. If you've been there and done it, and you've paid off your mortgage and like enjoying life, then avoid stuff like that. I understand ARCHER completely, apart from why he supports Man Utd. We can't all be perfect
