Cant you get access to it with the cover on as this would be the best way to do it,

If not, you could turn it put cover on try take off turn put on etc

With the l5 when turned on the flames was in a covered area so it wasn't to bad,
If the flames when turned on are in a covered area then you could do it with the cover off if you are careful when doing it.

No it won't make any difference unless it was empty.

How about using my other pump to pump cold into the hot produce pipe so will cool it a little?

suppose you've got the right gas for your particular model. Which one have you got?

IV got the correct gas and regulator on it, can't understand why the burner would cut out when I want the water to be colder only likes to run boiling. I mite have to have another pump pumping cold into the hot produce pipe to look the water before it hits the reals i wreken that could work

Doesn't it have a manual? There's loads of info on the net but as you haven't said which model you have it's hard to look at it.
Fogwash works at a particular flow rate - could be yours works at a high flow rate who knows? Paloma also do a natural gas heater which is why I wondered if you had the right one for propane. Almost sounds like your turning thae flow down rather than the gas setting - don't suppose the k nobs are the wrong way round?

Its got a sticker on the side saying propane 37mbar regulator that's what I have im gunna have another go this morning not that its gunna be any different lol I shall report back

Smithie, you don't need a pump to match the size of the boiler. 5L, 6L, 8L, that is the amount of hot water the can produce without the temperature dropping. The are designed to hear varying flows of water, otherwise they would only work at a flow rate that matched the heater. My heater can run at roughly 1.5LPM with no detriment to the heater.

i seem to have it sorted now it only works if i plum in another hose reel of the same pump so it was a flow problem i was having it wont run on low pressure also seems to only work between number 4 and 5 which was good enough anyways must be a water flow issue that determins weather the burner ignites at what temp etc

There a pin in the arce to be honest but its amazing to clean with  a must for winter and if this one brakes il buy another I have to have one now full stop lol
