Gardiner vs pheonix value for money.
« on: January 15, 2013, 05:07:07 pm »
If you are considering buying an slx or pheonix carbon pole, the slx is now better value than the pheonix because you now get a FREE carbon goose neck AND brush of your choice. It's a no brainier really.

yes it is mate, only the clx base sections are glass fibre, but from slx range upwards all base sections are full carbon with a thin anti shock layer which is not carbon. it does appear different to the other sections so you could be forgiven for thinking that.
WE CLEAN BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT WITH WATER FED POLE WHEN WORKING AT HEIGHT.

The base/handle section on the SLX/SMAX is Carbon Fibre with a thin outer insulative layer.

This is true on  the smaller CLX poles, but on the CLX27 the base/handle section use exactly the same carbon/glass blend as all the other CLX27 sections and are not made of just fibre glass. We did try just having fibre glass handle sections on the very first CLX27 poles, but quickly found that they were not robust or rigid enough to cope with this length of pole and quickly changed it to the current carbon/glass blend.

Are Gardeners offering this on retrospective purchases of their poles?  ;D

I suppose if you don't ask you don't get.

We are extending this to anyone who has bought a full carbon pole since the 1st of January - they would just have to pay the courier charge.

Should be unveiled on the website within a few weeks - We should then have Quick-LoQ stocks for general sale with our poles by about April.

We will still be continuing with this current gooseneck/brush offer for the next few months.

No doubt it will be a "genuine" step forward in WFP as per usual by Gardiners & not just some over-hyped counterfeit as we've gotten used to by the competition!! ;)

In that case, if they did not get this offer, they would qualify for a free Super-Lite carbon 10" gooseneck and brush combo to be sent to them for just the courier cost.
