Yea, came up good in the end. I figured just water wouldn’t be adequate, so used a strong TFR mix which still wasn’t adequate. So bleached it. I’m not entirely happy about using bleach on solar panels because it doesn’t actually get rid of the debris, just makes it translucent. The crap that remained after the TFR was white after the bleach treatment, so that didn’t look good. A good scrub got rid of that.

What was it on the panels ??? Looks like general grime that should come off ok , but obviously not

There was general grime but something that water alone and then a strong TFR mix wouldn’t do much to it. So, in answer to your question the reality is I don’t actually know. They also had 8 panels on the other side of the house, these panels were only as dirty as any regularly cleaned array. A minimal amount of lichen spots and no residual grime.

No trees anywhere in the vicinity likely to be the cause for whatever reason.

Cladding clean only.

Just photos of the back, never took any of the front.

New van with 200 watt solar, just about to add another 240 watt, goes onto three 110 amps batteries - total 440 watts of solar.

Goes against everything I said in one post.

I'm not trying to build a business, don't want any more work and am happy with what I get in.

Suspension on the van upgraded to two leaf springs @ 76mm - giving a 5 tonne load bearing, looks exactly the same height with a tonne of water and all kit in the back.

Are they trading, how you doing the section where the plants are and over the glass roof?
