What do you think about this idea ?Putting Joe my part timer into van on his own next year to free me up to grow customers and pressure wash.Thinking of paying along lines of a 50/50 split after a "van charge" taken out for the day which is to cover fuel, insurance, water, equipment etc.Van charge prob about £30 to £35 a day and balance split 50/50.

I have to say, I am staggered that someone with over 4000 posts on this forum would think thats a good idea.You are running a business not a charity.

Also the possible extra insurance costs to, I'm guessing you already have the employees liability cover and public liability too! My insurance jumped from £125 a year to Just over £450 a year to get cover! Oh and the van insurance might go up depending if he drives it already

it depends on what type of business you want to run. if you are running it for lifestyle, not wanting a multi van operation,
