Had no problems today even though it was cold. I made a YouTube Video just to show that water on paths is not too much of an issue.

Coldest it read today was minus 6.8 !!
what time of day was it

About 11am when I took the video.

what do you do about windows above front doors, do yo leave them, trad them or just put salt down

Do it and just warn the customer

i dont think that would be enough, they may have another family member or a visitor slip on it and what if the customer isnt in when you clean only to come home and slip, i can understand putting salt out as an option but only if put down before work commences if put down after work is done the water has already frozen and the salt can take quite a while to work

Today the runoff water hadnt frozen by the time I had finished the property and put down salt.
There are several steps you can take to reduce issues and continue to WFP.

I was using dishwasher salt granules, just got some more from lidl's 89p for 2kg (W5)

I  hate that pink stuff, I think the salt granule as white not really noticeable.

Nice little tip; thanks.

Nice vid too, Sunshine.  It shows that with a bit of forward planning and determination, cleaning in these cold temps isn't a problem.

Well, until your pole freezes up; but that's not happened so far this year, touch wood.

It may happen today. Forcast is colder and not going above -2° locally.
It's -6.4° at the moment.

Today was always going to be the coldest day which is why I did what I could up to now.
I'm happy with a day off if needed.

"Gas but not on demand. I circulate it and have a warm tank."

"I will video it tomorrow.
I found on demand was either too hot or not hot enough."

Hi sunshine!

Did you get round to the video of your system?

Nick
