Minus 4.3 degrees and no issues
« on: December 12, 2012, 04:20:04 pm »
Had no problems today even though it was cold. I made a YouTube Video just to show that water on paths is not too much of an issue.

Coldest it read today was minus 6.8 !!

Are you gas or electric?

Gas but not on demand. I circulate it and have a warm tank.

Just salt them but if customer is in ask them whether they want it left.

Most think I'm fab just for gritting.

Sounds intriguing!

I’m genuinely interested. How are you going about achieving that?

I will video it tomorrow.
I found on demand was either too hot or not hot enough.

i dont think that would be enough, they may have another family member or a visitor slip on it and what if the customer isnt in when you clean only to come home and slip, i can understand putting salt out as an option but only if put down before work commences if put down after work is done the water has already frozen and the salt can take quite a while to work

I was using dishwasher salt granules, just got some more from lidl's 89p for 2kg (W5)

I  hate that pink stuff, I think the salt granule as white not really noticeable.
