« on: December 07, 2012, 04:02:08 pm »
Hi fellow cc

Just trying to understand why it's so quiet at the moment. Have a few jobs booked in next week but that's it. anybody else experiencing the same just wondering if it's quiet across the board doing more ovens than anything at the moment and I hate ovens!

Its probably because know one wants carpets cleaning once the Xmas tree is up.

And seeing as the world and his wife now seem to put them up in November...............

Perhaps they are all doing the Christmas shopping etc.
Then in about 10 sdays time, thinking their carpets/upholstery look a bit tatty, and with the family all coming over, they will call wanting them cleaned before Christmas.

It's either that, or your advertising is hopeless!  ;D

Passed two vans parked up outside carpet cleaners house today, but also seen a couple flying around doing multiple jobs.

It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

Most trees will be going up this weekend, so when they start moving furniture about they will see the the clean bits.
Monday morning the phones will be red hot, well i think so anyway, saying that only got a couple of slots left, but the week after not a single job as yet.

After a slow November and early December by normal standards, i was a bit worried about the xmas period, but it's gone bonkers since last week. Booked up  for the next two weeks with 4\5 jobs a day and 2 commercials, very happy chappy.  :) .Will pay for the wifes xmas prezzy.

4/5 jobs a day!  I can't imaging ever fitting more than 3 small jobs into one day, and I'm usually knac**ered after 2 (and it takes all day anyway).  How long is your working day?
