1999 LDV Convoy & WFP Setup For Sale
« on: February 05, 2006, 10:35:17 pm »
Hi Everyone,

I am considering selling my 1999 LDV Convoy LWB High Top 2.5 diesel (transit running gear) and water fed pole setup as I am going to upgrade.

What will be on offer is the van (body work excellent condition, with only a few imperfections). Fitted with a 250lt water tank, 100psi Shurflo pump with pressure adjusters, 30 inch DI bottle, and 25 meter auto retracting hose, 12ft and 18ft Ionics pole.

I will do a proper list and inventory later in the week, just letting people know now to see what interest I receive.

Pictures of the van and setup can be found on this thread

http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=10742.0#msg79795

If you are interest, send me a mail and an offer price.

Also, if the price is right and you are buying the setup to start off, I will include an 800lt holding tank with a 240volt transfer pump and a 200gpd RO unit. This will start anyone off in business.

Many Thanks

Andrew

HI Andy,

Still working the price out, you are welcome to make me an offer. I am about 25 mins from you and you are welcome to come and have a look.

New pictures below of the side door open.

The reason I set the van up like this was for security!!! I can have the side door open and all the other doors closed and locked and not worry about anyone getting in the back and nicking anything.

The pressure release on the pump is excellent (this will also adjust the water flow when operating).

I will be replacing the boxing around the side door as it is looking very dirty now, so it will look like new again.

Many Thanks

Andrew

Thanks Fibre Fresh

Allot of hard work went into it and to ensure i still had enough space to use in the back.

Hi Everyone,

Just to let you know, this van is on ebay and finishes tonight. You can find it under window cleaning or water fed pole in your search box.

Good Luck

Hi Clear View,

I pulled i out of ebay as i was getting grief off another ebayer who was conning people into buying a van setup, which was really a static setup. And putting a static setup in a van can end with serious consequences.

I am prepared to sell the van on its own or with the full setup in and or install a bigger tank if that is what is required (cost to be agreed upon).

Many Thanks

Andrew

im interested in a 700l - 1000l setup. with 2 reels of 100m to suit 2 operators, what sort of money would that be.

HI Clear view,

Big Money - the max tank i would be prepaired to install would be a 650lt baffled tank, only beacuse of the safety aspect.

You could approach one of the main manufacturers for a bigger tank, ie IOnics have quoted me in the past £1,000. for a 1000lt baffled tank in there frames (i think fitting was extra though).

The hose and hose reels would be down to want you want and i would recomend shopping around for these, 2 hose reals both with a 100 meters of hose could set you back as much as £300.

You could also try omni pole, as Glyn does some really good equipment.

For your kind of setup, basically i would recomend to buy the van without any set up, then add your own components, that will be the cheapest way forward for you.

Many Thanks

Andrew

Hi, ive started out in window cleaning, been going about 2 months. have now picked up a couple of commercial contracts, so now is the time to look for a water fed pole system. Would yours be ok for this type of work? Could i install a bigger tank if not? I also live in a very hard water area, so is the equipment up to it??
Do you know roughly how much you would like for the whole set up??
Thanks.

HI everyone

my upgrade date is getting really really close now, price has been reduced for quick sale.

Everything included will ensure that someone wanting to start out, can be up and running in a matter of days.

The van will require a new mot, failure sheet available (power steering box). This can be fixed prior to sale or the buyer can have it done (price will reflect sale price).

Many Thanks

Andrew
