Chez - ancient proverb:-
"Anyone inexperienced puts faith in very word, but the shrewd one considers his steps."
Actually it's "every word" assuming your quoting from the bible. 4 years experience hardly makes me inexperienced. Cheers bro
Quite right! misspelling on my part!
However think about this.
If I buy something from the business that has been chosen by it's owners or forced by the bank or the creditors to liquidate then I lose much protection.
It all sounds fine and dandy to give someone a break or that we are glad they are on their feet again - however would it be wise to hand over money to someone who has either chosen to or been forced to close their business just because they have started up or transferred the goodwill to another similarly founded company with a similar name and/or set of Directors or what have you?
E.g.
I'm phoning up because my sealed units are misty and they're only five years old and they have a ten year guarantee.I'm sorry but that guarantee was issued by Windowgleam Ltd; we are Windowgleem Ltd (note spelling - I make the occasional mistake but not this time).
But you operate from the same address and you have the same main Director.
Sorry madam, legally we are a different entity.
But you put in a new window last year what happens when that fails?
I'm sorry madam Windowgleam Ltd went into liquidation. But We at Windowgleem Ltd can sell you another one. Funnily enough we have the same database which Lovely Laura is using right now to gain new custom using her winsome telesales ways!
