Is that the Orbot Sprayborg from Jeff at HOS?
If it is you have ordered a great machine, built like a tank, use in conjunction with Environ hp, Releasit or Surround with the tan and white pads.
I've been using mine for a year now for my commercial work and have been highly impressed.

Been encaping for the last 3 months with a 19" cimex , Releasit and fibreplus pads. What benefit would a Orbit have over my cimex? Nice bit of kit but £900 more than a cimex.

I found the Orbot by looking at carpet cleaning videos on YouTube, then went on to the HOS website through them.
I have a CR48 cimex myself and find the Orbot easier to throw in and out of the van as it folds to nothing also the Orbot can be used on domestic, where as big yella just won't go there. As for the quality of the two on commercial carpet you couldn't split them.

They are very similar machines all be it one is planetary and the other oscillating
The Orbot has better multi surface capabilities than the Cimex CR48 imo. and some future kit will improve this further.
The Orbot uses less product when encapping due to the sprayers.
Its lighter and folds up for transport.
The Cimex is still a great machine and I cant see us dropping it from our line up anytime in the near or distant future.
We are very pleased to have these available in the UK having first seem them a few years ago.
Its the only machine I have seen that combined the build quality and usuability of a Cimex and the productivity of our 50kg 20" Chemspec Rotobrite machines which have sadly been discontinued some time ago.

Paul,

I wish that was the case, I can remember when I was trying to source any uk suppliers and found a supplier in Lymm Cheshire who had been selling them. So I know I wasn't the first.
But yeah anything to be like Shaun.    ;)

I looked into the spray borq a year or so ago, but found out there was problems getting them CE marked hence why the then UK supplier stopped supplying them.

Nice to see them available again though.

They no longer have the heater. There is a plug there for it but it's unused.

It would have needed a second cable to get through CE approval I believe.
