« on: June 15, 2012, 10:29:03 pm »
Used chemspec POG for the first time today in an office with loads of tape glue stuck on the carpet. I usually stick with the prochem range but I was amazed at the results what a great product!

Are all chempsecs chemicals this good???

I think chemspec products are the best on the market, there f90 is the worlds best selling detergent, all there products are excelent. There are slightly more expensive than other brands but quality comes at a price

I've always found when I use their product they do exactly what it says it will do and if it doesn't then no other companies product will do it either.

I'd agree with Mike Chemspec products are the best and more expensive, sometimes you don't need the power that they can provide so you can use other solutions but formula 90 is a very good product their problem solvers are the best and they have an excellent after sales service Richard and Julie are brilliant to deal with they know every product inside out, I have a mixture of many manufacturers products but a good % is chemspec.

Hi guys

The fact that Chemspec don't need to push their products probably sums up the inherent quality, definitely worth trying.

Lets face it chemiccl cost is  a fairly small proportion of our costs so I would always choose best quality over price.

Cheers

Some products have moved on in the last 20 years. :)

This is quite an interesting point, chemicals have moved on and new cleaning technology has come onto the scene......

But!!!!! Has it moved on for the better?

I think we have been side tracked away from our main porpose of getting the carpet clean. we are now thinking 'save the planet',   'indoor air quality' and 'no harsh chemicals' etc etc ....

Those chemical we used 20yrs ago did the job brilliantly why now set them aside because some companies are telling us we need to save the planet or 'harsh' chemicals are bad.

Are the real motives for things 'moving on' that companies need a new angle to make them different...... so try and convince us that these new chemicals are the future

Or is it they can buy it in 50gl drums, dilute 100-1  with water then sell it to us as 'super concentrated' ;) ;)

I suspect this is what One Clean Green is. Need to remember and ask R&J.

I too started with a spotting kit with 10 or 12 bottles. ( it is so long since I used it I can't remember.)
I now have 5 sprays for spotting and know that if they will not shift it not much else will.
As for everyday cleaning solutoions, I used F90 for a few years and found it pretty good but I find other products make it look a bit out of date.
I have the highest regard for Richard and Julie who I got to know quite well a few years ago  but feel their products are a little dated.
Times move on....

There is nothing wrong with them.
I think they have been superceded by more advanced cleaning solutions.

Some products suit some cleaners better better than others everyone has a favourite you just have to keep trying them all out there is not one supplier that sells all of the best ones but a multimillion $ like chemspec will have some brilliant research facilities.

What , you mean like SPM etc   ;D

Nothing new in those ...  of course if they listed an MSDS online like chemspec that could be easily proved .

The reason other companies haven't gone down the route of adding an oxidiser to their powders is the problem of getting a consistant mix. Addding 5% oxidiser to a large tub of powder will result in sometimes not getting any of it in your scoops unless you mix it thoroughly everytime you use it.
It is much better to add it to a mixed up solution.
As regards Chemspec their DFC range is one of the most innovative in the industry. Every manufacturers products are evolving all the time. That is why we get monthly and sometimes weekly updated MSDS sheets.

I think of chemspec as being like a sleeping St Bernard dog laying there snoozing, content in himself,  the other companies are like little, annoying terriers.....running around yapping thier heads off, trying to get attention.

Quality will always rise to the top, it does'nt need gimmicks or skulduggery

Hi Guys

I also think having an oxidiser as standard is a blunt solution, it will lighten some colours, that is what is does. Far better to add oxidiser when you want it.

Cheers
