« on: June 06, 2012, 05:29:23 pm »
Just picked up an semi aniline re dye job for £350.00 customer found me off TACCA site.
Used to have SM franchise leads of MS sofas cost by having to pay a monthly charge into the corporate advertising fund + 10% of the job on top.
TACCA is free  :)

I get all my jobs that way Paul ;D

Tbh you don't have to believe what you read it's at your discretion, I've personally had 20 jobs from the ncca site and I'm not even a member now believe that if you dare  ;D

No set up-  just pleased to get a good lead off something that has cost me nothing to join and has a decent professional looking site. Not aware of SMs site generating anything for me in the time I was with them. The only thing that did work was their name on M&S furniture which brought in some enquiries. So more power to Derek West he's managed something that the marketing team at SM Ltd have not yet achieved - a decent looking site that actually appears on p1 of google and work comes from it.

Well i still think if you get a lead you should pay a Commission it will help to pay for the proposed Advertising. In actual fact that is how it should be paid for on results

That's not a bad idea Ian, only problem I can see is it would have to rely on members honesty. Not sure how that could be got around..

Don't appear on page 1 with my searches of google.
Or 2 or 3.

Ltt I think do it that way it is based on honesty and also if you get 3 leads and don't declare you have complete the work questions would be asked but that's providing that tacca are tracking the numbers.

Not sure I follow Shaun, if someone calls your direct number but they came to you via TACCA, how would TACCA know you received the call? (and maybe or maybe not gone on to do the job)

john, try "carpet cleaners morley" okay so morley, i'm presuming is probably not searched for, TBH i've no idea, but from small steps come big distances, give us a chance mate, early days. (insert acorn proverb here)

I have had one lady comment that she booked me because i belonged to TACCA... I believe if TACCA was more popular when people searched for carpet cleaners on Google we all would have more enquires.
The more commission we contribute towards TACCA, the more money Derek could put towards SEO and marketing... just a thought  ;)

Just can't understand why people make claims that it
came up number 1 on Google when it clearly doesn't.
And why would it.
Type carpet cleaners "anywhere" and it won't come up
number 1.
Wonder what the lady with the leather job that Graeme
did typed in.

Just to try and clear this up - and I am definitely no IT expert. If this lady typed in leather cleaning or repair say 'leather repair huddersfield' (which is what I would do unless wanting a company in london) I will appear on p1 maybe not number 1 but its still on the page. In fact her address was just inside the sheffield post code and I am just inside the huddersfield post code although it only took 10 minutes to drive to her house. I am guessing google recognised her IP address as being very close to my business location?? Not an expert but I guess thats why. Not trying to say TACCA is bouncing onto p1 if you just type carpet cleaning.
