But look at this comparison on weight - anyone know the prices?

I like the idea of fan and pencil jets in the same brush head and allowing you to connect to those you want to use. If that can be done with no weight disadvantage that is an excellent idea.

If I had been in control at Unger I'd have offered Gardiner's shareholders a squillion quid to buy them out, kept him and a small team on for a couple of years to develop poles and learn how to look after customers and everyone would be a winner.

No actually Dazmong, they are 205g. Lighter than most of Gardiners
 

The lightest is 245g (complete) not 205g, then the next lightest is 300g, they sound pretty heavy to me.

When you are working over 35 ft the most important thing is stiffness not just how lite the pole is, that's why I love Alex because he's pole is super stiff

The poles, well, just need to try them out I guess. They look different, at least.

They're heavier by quite a bit.

But is the Unger stated length "reach" or "actual"?  If "reach then it IS more comparable to the slx 18 as the unger will probably be 19ft actual length.

Dissect what you like, the Unger pole is heavier, more expensive and less ergonomic than most other poles in its class.

If Unger have managed to make a pole that is reasonably light but stiffer than The pole that Alex sells then they really will be on a winner, but that is a very big if.

Are you sure?  It says it cleans UPTO a height of 22ft, if the pole was 22ft, it would clean to a higher height because of the height of the body.
