I was asked by a passer by to clean her windows ,I got address and new the houses so told her price and agreed I clean tommorow morning ,I explained that I don't collect so if she not in I leave slip with details ,so I do the clean on wednesday text after to say all done and slip left with bank details,she replys thanks il pay online later,well its now Saturday no payment made and no reply to yesterdays text reminding for payment,what would you do wait longer?

Just a bit concerned how no reply to my messages I don't mind a little delay ,but obviously she had the money to approach me if I don't here from her by Monday on Tuesday il be banging the door

My slips say pay in 7 days ... at the end of day 7 i text a reminder and then another 3 days later... can take up to 2 weeks with some but they pay in the end.

I would give it a week, if you hassle her she wont stay on. Now some on here will prejudge and say she will be trouble. I used to be the same but some of my best customers would have been dumped on first clean if I took all the advice on here, it just takes time for some people, I know I am rubbish at that kind of stuff....

In my opinion you need to give any new customer a bit of slack, never prejudge because it always turns out to be a self fulfilling prophecy....

Im still waiting for one of mine to pay me the £960 they owe me since April last year.

I had a letter from the reciever today, they are paying themselves an average of £280 an hour to administer the bankruptcy and there's £18,000 available to share out to creditors owed £26,400,000.

Cant see me getting much of that

Unfortunatly getting stuffed now and again is part of being in business, its wrong but I would rather it would be the odd domestic than a grand like matt...

definatly leave it for a week before pestering her for your money,id have hardly any customers if i was demanding the money the day after

thats the best way , but if i gave someone credit on the first clean i would wait 3 weeks before calling them up.
