I'm charging €20 for a 3 bed semi (with bay window) down in Cork & would expect prices to be higher up in Dublin.
Im based near monaghan and im only looking at starting and was going to charge maybe €15 typical 3 bed semi to build a bit of a round maybe im thinking to high? maybe go in at €10?
Don't sell yourself short just to build your round. Work smart, not hard! Find out what local shiners are charging and match it, don't undercut -- I'd be surprised if its less than €20 a house.
Remember that its rare to get loads of houses in a row,.. most of mine are single properties dotted all over the place, so setup/pack away time & the time travelling between each job needs to be factored into the price.
You might get less jobs if you charge higher, but you won't need as many. You'll also be able to spend an extra few minutes on each job making sure the result is flawless every time, which will win you customers through referrals.
Remember that the money you take home each day isn't all yours. The tax man will want his percentage, fuel & vehicle costs will remove another significant percentage -- equipment costs, insurance costs, accountants fees, days off due to illness or bad weather etc etc -- at the end of the week your business overheads can be surprisingly big even for a simple little business like cleaning windows!
