I had some feed back about my training course "Getting Commercial Work"
 
so thought I'd ask if anyone was interested in one being run on Sat 25th Feb in Bristol.
Its £95 and covers buying work, all aspects of marketing, pricing and a detailed look at a "real" commercial round.

If i were you i would offer the course at half price for the first few courses at least you would get a lot attending and they would spread the word about

If David was planning a course for six students at £95 per head, but gets twelve at £50 per head, he's onto a winner (okay, he may have more questions to answer during the course) but I'm sure he can cope.

The course is run in Bristol. 

I'll take the train just in case there's an end of course pisz-up!

Although that'd be dependant on the starting time as I'd be traveling by train which would be roughly 4 hours traveling.

I'm without a car at the moment and the hearse would eat too much petrol.

Giving you some good advice, In short NO, WHY! most if not all of the industry shows, events, meeting, courses, are all do on week days because there is no demand for it! some in the industry have said  because many have children and family’s at the weekend, anyway up to you, your Club.

What are you going on about?  You're speaking in hieroglyphics!

I think you're saying Saturdays aren't good because people have family commitments and don't like to attend 'shows, events, or meetings' on a weekend.

Are you referring to 'employed staff' from large window cleaning companies or suppliers, or self-employed window cleaners?  Personally I think employed staff wouldn't like it, but self-employed window cleaners would prefer it.

If it was held on a Monday for example, not only would the self-employed window cleaner be paying £95 for the course, but he would be losing a day's earnings too.

Also, I would not think of going if it was during the week.

Added to which, there are loads of trade fairs/seminars/courses held at the weekend all over the place. The Conferance Centre here in Brighton often holds courses/seminars during the weekend and some are big events. Some are also on a Sunday. I think it depends on the course/market.

I agree that words can be written intending one meaning by the writer and read as something else by the reader.

However, you didn't try to clarify what you did actually mean.

Is what I mean by the above clear or does it need further clarification?

Asking questions is always a good place to start when trying to get a clear understanding.

Communication is an essential skill especially for those at the lofty hieghts of success.

Now if you would like me to clarify that further then please ask but it's best to ask with a question and not a statement.

I think Davidabishop turns over £50k hardly an industry leader.
