For sale section
« on: March 17, 2012, 12:44:45 pm »
This was better in all one place rather than split by section. The volume of posts surely doesn't justify splitting, does it?

Also, the proposed charges will have a negative impact on the forum as a whole.

Suggestion, put for sale back as a stand alone, all in one section and forget about charges.

I have never used it for selling anything, I do look at it regularly for buying things, it was good with everything together, and is now a pain with everything in "sections" and as for the proposal for a charge to sell, I figure it will be the demise of the for sale section very very swiftly.

Turns out the Forum Admin are not interested in our opinions. Then again it is their Ball or is it people seem to have found other places to sell items.

Cheers Tony

Hi Guys,

We have been listening to your views here at Clean It Up. Thank you for
your feedback!

In line with your suggestions, we will place all the "Equipment for sale/wanted"
sections together in one instead of it being split up. Thus "Equipment For
Sale/Wanted" section can be found under the combined "Market Place"
here. Also check out the sales leads in the Market Place when
you are there.

Overall we have seen an increase in the number of items being posted for
sale, and we feel that trend will continue with this new combined section.

Lots of cleaning equipment gets brought and sold on Clean It Up every day!

Not sure how to post an item for sale? Click here for full details.

Regards,

Forum Admin.

i noticed on all the ad the tops says 'Location' but when posting an ad you don't have the option to fill this  in ,

the location of the items is what members really want to know epsecailly if the seller has not filled in thier profile, can this be fixed?

Hmmm that seems odd, when you choose "new advert" you should see the "Subject" and under this is the "Item Location". Others have been filling this in, if you could put a print screen up to show this when posting a new advert that would be great. Here's my print screen:

Thanks.
