depends on how close and how involved, I sub a bit from my brother, no problems there, my brother worked for years for my dad, before he took over the business, that worked well as my brother made a good foreman and my dad was good at sales. but other than them two I wouldn't involve working with any other family, I even sack my son when has helped me out in the holidays ;D

I've just sacked my son! 10 months wasted. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get him to see the benefits of having his own van and being totally self sufficient.... If your asking me, NO.
Life used to be full of up's and downs....now i hardly ever get up a ladder :) .

;D bob!

I've worked with my brother for 6 months, was fine, never stopped talking!

Worked with wife for past 7 years, no problem. With wfp we don't see each other so much, she's at one house, I'm at another.

Its great if you can get on working together, cuts down overheads, money stays in family, CAN be less hassle!  ;D

Worked with my wife for a number of years and she was brilliant.
Worked harder than anyone I've worked with plus great for tax reasons and she's better looking as well  ;D

My son started with me 18 months ago, he now has his own round and picking work up left right and centre.

I am now looking for someone else and wondering where I will get another worker as good. Considering trimming round so I don't need anyone.

i offered my son some Saturday work , but he wanted the money up front, in cash. i knew it wasnt going to work out at that very moment.  i also gave him his own set of gear, squeegee etc but he just laughed ,egged on by his psycho mum no doubt , no respect from kids these days  >:(
