  so just got this text from a custy £20 job as well...

"no cash in house so leave it for tommorrow will have to leave it till jan. hope you have a great xmas and happy new year"

what would you lot say to this?
im gonna phone her in a minute but just onterested in what others would say!

her track record is good no other cancelations but if you let them get away with it once you know what happens

its a dog sh!t garden though!

i told her that i cant except cancelations axcept for a good reason, if you havnt any cash i take a cheque or bnk transfer!

she said, "youve cancelled more times than i have!" which is true. ive moved her clean around aprobably 4 or 5 times due to various reasons like sickness van break downs etc which i explained were out of my control!

then i felt bad like i was being too harsh  

so anyway i AM cleaning here windows tomorrow now and all is fine. unless she takes the hump from this phone call and cancels

thanks bob, she is a stand alone job but not in the sticks only 2 mins from the next job.
i cant really afford to loose any jobs ive lost about 8 in the last 2 weeks, i have gained 2 though but.... you know!

I'd normally let it go, if its not regular. once a year is fair enough if I like them, and they're price is ok.

good advice apologise and say you were under stress because of all the messers

sounds a good customer to me. cancelling on the one occasion doesnt sound bad . not like the rabble of poop half my customers are, cancelling any which way they can . i know its a sign of the times  , i ve dropped so many custys cause they keep trying to treat me like they can pick and choose when they want them done i had this one custy who after sept clean has said every month not today . so i text her a minute ago to leave gate unlocked and she said no again and she wont want them doing till the spring ,  she has gone off my list for good. some people must think we pay a small fortune to get set up for them to have their houses cleaned 4 times a year. its a joke .  funny thing is there is that many windys about at the moment she wont have any problem getting her wish.

gb, you sound like your desperate for work if its once in a blue moon who cares move on to next,it dont happen to me but if it did i would be to bothered unless it was a regular thing then i would tell them or just drop,an i wouldnt be ringing custy spouting the terms and conditions especially wen you been messing them about

just for the record frank the custards ive lost was due to them either being skint or moving  but thanks for the sentiment freind its most appreciated
