With those erm..'Specialist' films, unless they put his name up every 3 minutes I'd never see it.

Seriously though, has anyone in history ever watched more than 8 minutes in a single..'Sitting'?

Well if I have to start using my real name then I'm off somewhere else.
Whatever next? Only telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Hi Guys,

I shall post as myself now and not under Forum Admin - good point!

Just something a few people have said in the new section here: http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/index.php?board=26.0

It's great to get your feedback and we are listening so thanks for the input.

Well good luck with it Mitch.

I know it kicks off occasionally in the CC section as everyone believes they are right when in fact it's just me.  ;D

But I'm sure you would get more advertising if it wasn't for the linch mob/thug and Nazi related threads in the general section. Who wants to be associated with that? God knows what members of the public think when they stumble upon it.

stupid idea imo. i'm a member of many forums which i regularly check and this is the only one where it's an issue. by allowing freedom to "hide" you're allowing someone to give more honest advice without fear of it getting back to them later.

for instance say someone makes a thread about the biggest mistake they've made whilst carpet cleaning, atm we can freely post what honestly happened and hide if we feel we'd like to, but having your real name there would mean anyone who doesn't want to be known as the company who walked dog poo throughout the customers carpets and then couldn't get it up would just have to not post.

you get good and bad with everything but imo the good of having something to hide behind is better then the the good of having the real name, which can be faked any way
