just maintenance window cleaning and the add on jobs like conny roof/fascia/soffit cleaning for me.i have a solid customer base and earn enough all year round to not need another job.i try and enjoy the time off when bad weather comes but to be honest its usually only the odd day here and there that i cant do any window cleaning whatsoever.

unless we get some of the extreme freezing weather we ve had over the last 2 winters.then i try and just do say 3-4 hours a day or have a few days off and dip into my emergency fund if need be! ;D ;D ;D

I sell firewood in the winter which i cut and store on really wet days when i cant clean windows, also sell darts on ebay.

i clean windows full time... yes even on wet windy days :P

i only stop for very heavy rain which never last too long (couple of hours maybe at most)

and thunder and lightning

I do bespoke picture framing, picked up 6 frames to make today.

Mainly it's repeat work for a few local photographers / artists - and it's something to do when the weather is cr@p.

Don't know what boggie means  :) enjoy the training and the carry down from the 13.5 mt ladder , don't forget ,  according to people on here, now you are a fireman, you're not allowed to use wfp and you will have to reduce your prices ;D

was a pro Entertainer all over Europe for 20 years, did the windows before that and just drifted back up a ladder I guess.
had some wonderful times, and women lol.
now do Mobile discos all over the place, big stuff down to kids parties.
Ties in well with the windows....

Boggie, retained guys because apparently we are not as good as wholetime  ;D

Ive completed inital training last friday bro, i love the 13.5 ladder "STAND BY TO SLIP!" lol

Ok i will go back to ladders and reduce my prices  ;)

It's not a case of not being happy with our lot, it's the fact that a second job is normally a necessity for a firefighter with a family, and it just happens that window cleaning fits in with our shift work and it's a decent physical job.....
