tree surgeon

the more window jobs i get the less i have to climb trees
been doining it for ten years the time has come that i dont enjoy it any more
i do one day a week now as the money is good
hopefully by feb pack in and hang me harness up for the last time  :)
using a gardiner pole is so much easyer than a chainsaw ;)

When i get time, i have a engineering  metal lathe, milling machine and make brass components for the lighting industry.
Also buying broken laptops and repairing them

After knocking down two huge guys  ;D i had to go to the A&E in Paulton.Doctor/male nurse whatever he is taped the cuts on my face was a part time window cleaner.

We were looking to buy a round in Bath,the guy selling it was a part time football refree and he said he is moving abroad and work for some european leage.

I do home delivery for a kebab shop weekends only,That brings in bit of money and keeps me away from clubbing,drinking,women and trouble.

I do a bit of web design,.. mostly in the winter when the weather is too bad to work outdoors. Its rubbish money if you work out the hourly rate, but has the advantages that I can do an hour here & there & fit it in around family life, and it can be done in the evening with my feet up in front of the fire when my wife would otherwise be torturing me with Xfactor or similar.  ;D

My mrs has a business making organic handmade soaps and she's very busy this time of year, so on rainy days I'm often helping her out too.

I'm not doing all that well in window cleaning (I'm a good cleaner but just lack customers) so I have two other part time jobs.  Firstly I have two paper rounds and I have recently taken up a position as a lollypop man or a school crossing patrol worker as I should call it.  I'm only 26 so I'm probably one of the youngest lollypop men out there.

Hi,

We do a lot of gritting in the winter although we haven't been out this year yet and now find ourselves sitting on 150 tonnes of rock salt! We also do snow clearance but we will be waiting a while to start that too.

We have been keeping the Bobcat we use for snow clearance busy moving aquatic weed from lakes this week.

Depends where you are I guess.

I'm in Ireland & the attitude towards window cleaning here is completely different,.. its something you get done for a special occasion,.. very few want it done every 4 or 6 weeks and NOBODY wants to see me when its raining. So for me, a wet weather job is essential.
