my mate has a window run of about six grand a month and his wife wants half of it what is it value anybody know as he is panicing big style

This is a great question. It would be valued on its 'profitability'. As  any business should be.

the geezer would need to support himself aint we all human?

all cars, the house money etc should be splt but if the dude made his round alone with no involvement of his x wife honestly she should get sweet bugger all of it or any income of it , i dont know any man who wanted to claim something from his x wifes earnings why do some women do this its crazy.!

it needs a minister with balls to sort out the divorce mess of Britain- bring back the birch while hes at it too .
A good idea often toted  is to bring back the stocks on every market square in the country , for use on Saturday mornings,  and its  a pound to watch or a fiver to throw the rotten fruit .

divorces could be settled by  jousting contests  held at the far side of the market square .

and from a female perspective..........
Just hate it when it isn't an equal and I mean equal split.
Some of these women just want it all and it's not on! (i'm not joking when I say this either)
a 50% split should be a 50% split if that is what the legals say.....but invariably it isn't.
Most women work , but do they want to put that into the pot.....no they don't......makes me so mad.

/\ I'm in love!  ;D

Just the way I am, and it gets to me when these so called modern women, suddenly turn into fragile beings who couldn't possible fend for themselves >:( Have they no pride
Most of all the legal eagles seem to fall for it aswell ???
I have never come across a female that hasn't doesn't well out of a divorce and doesn't boast about it afterwards. >:(

Me too - Helen ur greeaat !

I think the pride just disappears and all they see is MONEY MONEY MONEY!

It's a buisness will all be put in the pot .. along with savings, pension, house, car and especially anything that she doesnt like - But means something to u .....
me bitter na  >:( >:(

Hope this guy hasnt got any young kids (3yrs or younger) or the spilt could be more like 80/20... (In her favour b4 anyone ask's ) and then they stop u seeing your child and you have to fight for your right to gain access... the law is an ass- jes you have depressed me... anyway u eventually get over it like me  ;D ;D ;D ;D

ps Dont tell ur mate the good news may get a little more worried
