Just a thought on this, the Reach-it pole on eBay at the start of this thread is advertised as 25ft reach not length, it's also 2.2kgs which is heavy compared to an slx or clx or even an elite. Although I have seen some videos showing the strength of the pole sections, and I must say that they look solid, but I still wouldn't want to buy a heavier and shorter pole. slx xtreme all the way for me.

Simon.

The poles on ebay are Elite, just rebranded. ;D

well if they are elite poles why are they a lot heavier .  my elite feels no different in weight to my airfix slx . ;D

That all depends on who you trust with the use of the word "approx" ;D

well i can see my 25ft slx lasting at least a couple of years!!i also wouldnt want to buy a pole thats heavier and shorter at full extend than the slx.

if you using it for everyday use surely spending an extra £25-£30 on a slx is better for your working day?less strain on shoulders/arms resulting in less chance of injuries which could cost you money in the long run.

Winproclean just except ur wrong the elite is better than the slx
No glue
No adjusting clamps all day long
I can buy any pole I want and choose the elite over the slx and the
Hybrid elite is better than the clx too.

I can also buy any pole I wish to. ;)

I need no glue, neither do I have to adjust my clamps. ;)

I chose a lighter, longer extended & shorter closed length pole with narrower base section- another slx-25 to replace my 4 year old slx-25 which again needed no glue or excessive adjustment of the clamps. ;)

If you like the Elite, then good for you  :)  I decided to spend an extra £25 ;D

i got the Grafter 24 from Ionic for £174 complete. Its mint, when collapsed its about 4ft which means i can use it in tight alleyways. I am a bit peeved though, just found out the grafter is on offer next month at their roadshows.  :o
