i dont think it would be practical to hire
Poles are coming down in price
with the exception to gardiners and ionic
both of these firms have inflated the pole prices
with their new pole ranges
there all basically the same type of pole as the Elite poles
just different branding and marketing nonsense
The first slx I purchased was £400 the equivalent is much cheaper now. Gardiners latest range of poles the xtreme are a very different pole to the slx and the elite. It's unfair to say that the price has been hiked as the xtreme is a completely different pole, I could have replaced my slx 25 with the equivelent and spent less than I did 3 years ago if I wanted.
It's good to do a little research before you post.
Simon.
look at the price the xtreme £702, thats £438 more than the elite pole which you can get for £264
there is no more information about why the 25ft xtreme pole is different from the slx or elite 25ft poles, and why dont you say what those differences are, instead of saying "thre xtremes are a very different pole" that means nothing, gardiners dont mention anything other than "Hi Modulus" and just about every other pole manufacture uses that phrase
i think this hi modulus marketing about poles is just boll*cks
simon i will be looking forwards to reading your post about the "reseach" on this
'Alex.' You are right that there is very little information about why the SL-Xtreme25 is so much better than the standard SL-X. Due to being very busy selling the poles, we have not really focused on promotion of the Xtreme range as of yet - we generally like the product to speak for itself.
I can assure you that the Hi-Modulus labelling of the Xtreme is not ******** - as you delicately refer to it. The quality of the carbon in the Xtreme range is second-to-none and is the only reason that these poles are so expensive. They actually have a much smaller profit margin % than the SLX and Super-Max range of poles to try and keep them within reach of clients - not completely successful, with the Xtreme18 being the worlds most expensive water fed pole per extended cm.
I am not going to try and explain to you the reasons that the Xtreme range is a complete 'world away' in performance and handling from a standard SL-X pole. I will allow the website to do this in due course. All I will say is that of the many clients who have purchased these poles they all have been 'blown away' by how easy they are to use and how much faster they work with them. I have even had a text from a client (who purchased an SL-Xtreme25 to replace an SLX) who has managed to cut some clean times down on larger jobs by 40%. Another client due to injury was taking 4 half days to do his part time round and can now do this in just one day - he says this is because of the Xtreme25 - this is an extreme case I know, but shows the real world difference they can make. These testimonials, and others, will be going on to the website soon.
'Alex.' - Thank you for the opportunity of defending these poles in the face of such unbridled antagonism
