Buy cheap buy twice. Invest wisely in a pump sprayer and with a little bit of regular maintenance, it will last....
Airofog do really good stainless steel ones....

Doesnt look a bad sprayer there colin..
Its the lance and seals that give way on the cheaper sprayers.

Interestingly I have a hozelock garden sprayer that ive had for about ten years, it's used nearly every day and is still going strong, cost about £25 I think, I've only had to replace the flexible tubing once,

I'd invest in a good quality one if you can afford it. It is interesting how for some, the cheap ones last ages and for others even good ones don't last long. I think how you use and abuse them is key.

At that price you could buy 9 or 10 for the same price and chuck them when they go wrong.
My sprayer looks like that, cost me £12 at the local garden center, has no make on it and still going strong after 6-7 years

My IK9 sprayer broke, so I bought a 5 litre sprayer from B&Q for £15. It turns out that my IK9 tubing has the exact same attachments as the B&Q sprayer, so I have the B&Q green bodied sprayer with my IK9 tubing and lance. The body of the cheaper one feels exactly like the IK9.
Great set up!

I think there's a very good reason for that Hydro.
Probably the only difference is the lance, the seals, and the colour.

It's just a sprayer, you pump, it sprays. - end of story
£179 or £17 Its not really a difficult choice is it ?

The b&q one comes with a a poor lance and needs a fan jet replacement. If you use splitter as your main chemical it will probably be fine.

No one really said WHAT they are spraying through the lower priced units.
That may make a difference to the longevity of seals (or not)

Joe I spray HD, Mpower and Fusion Clean through my £1.99 Wilko ones.
The orion that didn't last long only had M power going through it.
We do live in an area with heavy limescale though, hence the cheapo's

I have 2 IK9 sprayers and not had a problem.
They only break if you throw them about.
The ones with with the new lance and
upholstery gun from Restormate are solid
bits of kit.
