I had one of the blue orion pump sprayers. very plastic, when I was pumping it up in a customers house, the small pressure gauge shot off and had to chuck it outside quick, could of been an expensive job, I now use a electric sprayer.

No its not just a sprayer! We have had a Gloria Sprayer now for 20 years has lasted well still looks the biz but more importantly is the spraying power I seen other carpet cleaners spraying with half harted cheap sprayers. No I would not use a non professanal sprayer.

Recently got one of these from solosprayers
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200308288077&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Really nice quality lance and upholstery gun but surprised at the low quality of the plastic jets as they spray unevenly heavy on edge of the fan pattern. Had some descent ones knocking around so switched and now perfect. At £76 delivered a good price.

so the presure is important then! maybe i should invest in one good one.. and get some cheaper ones in. do you have some chemicals which you would keep to a sprayer of its own or types of chemical that dont mix well with others even if sprayer washed out?
