Farming, dairy farm in Dorset, mixed farm in Hampshire, fruit and veg shop, selling double glazing door knocking, sheep farm in Ireland, dairy farm in Denmark, pig farm in Denmark, mixed farm in Denmark, picked avocados in Israel, then oranges in Israel, tractor driving in Israel, then allsorts in Israel (restaurant kitchens, building sites, sieveing sand on the beach with a chip-pan fryer looking for cash in Eilat, sweeping the roads, pub refurb, flat refurb and then eventually refitting a scuba-diving boat).

Came back to the uk, arable farm, then landscaping for 11 years and window cleaning for 13 now.

First window cleaning job I did was on a RAF estate just outside of Reading.

In the 1970's when I left school jobs were dead easy to get. I had a few. You could leave a job on a Friday then start a new one on the next Monday. Those were the days. ;D

Left school at 16 in 1974
Joined the army. Lived in a tank for 2 weeks then asked "where do I sign to get out of this club?"
75 jobbed in holiday camps in Skegness then Gt Yarmouth, great times. Actually started a small WC round on my estate for about 6 months with a damp leather and a dry cloth!! Paid about 30 quid for a double ladder.
76 rejoined the army and served 9 years.
85 Stayed in Germany when I got out and started international truck driving to mostly France and Portugal.
Later got a great job truck driving from Germany to Tunisia.
89 my mate showed me what could be earned in window cleaning.
Been WCing ever since with a 3 or 4 year break when I went back to trucking.
Love being my own boss. Like the money, but still really miss the trucking.

PS Eddie Stobart drivers are plastic poofs.
