Hi Johnny i use paypal alot through ebay and i have many refunds and i am sure you can when you use a private purchase, take a look on paypal and see if you can open a case against your seller you may have to give the seller a few days to make contact but i'm sure your money is safe.

I think you'll find that you'll have a decent level of support via Paypal. As I recall there was a big shake up some time ago and now they are much safer to use.

I did have a problem a couple of years back with an ebay item never received. Paypal got the money back to me in full after a short investigation.

Take a look here: -

I would give it a day or two tho, you sound a bit too eager, especially over the weekend. Call him tomorrow and you'll find he's there. What's his feedback score?

you will have to open a dispute on the paypal site, getting money back if and should work in your favour will take upto three weeks, and will be repaid back to your card,if through ebay you can find out there details via ebay,if lucky there contact details could show you some thhing like address and telephone number i think,go on ebay onto help-type request sellers contact details, follow there links-but it will also send them notice that you have requested there details too and shows yours (what was inputted when you signed up to ebay. police doubt you get much joy but pay pal will repay you but is long winded due to there format.hope helps a tad.
